About

I absolutely LOVE what I do – and hope it shows. Every day is different – and the people I meet as clients, as well as the creative folks executing the work – are terrific.
I’ve been involved in marketing & branding in one capacity or another since the mid 70s! A career beginning in electronic media eventually gave way to opening my own successful advertising firm in 1986 – The Ad Works Agency, Inc. The agency won a number of accolades and Best of Show awards through the stewardship of 3 very talented Creative Directors; the first straight off a 20 year career on Madison Avenue with the big guns.
In the mid 90s, I began doing new business development for other firms across North America – specializing in high-end resort and recreational real estate. The first was Montana based Spiker Communications, agency for Stock Farm, Charles Schwab’s private membership club.
In the healthcare world, the agency has been instrumental in launching a new Heart Center, new Cancer Center, new LDRP and Patient Tower. Other clients have included a mental health center, various physical rehabilitation centers and diagnostic faciliities, the largest health system in the state of North Carolina, as well as the Malignant Hyperthermia Association.
Now with the advent of the Internet, new media has thrown most traditional agencies a real curve ball – the cultures are very different! It is rare to find a traditional firm, with new media skills and publicity all under one roof.
This is the basis for pulling together project specific teams – accountability, efficiency, expertise in their respective fields, and results. As a marketing strategist, I help flesh out your objectives – immediate and long term – and then go about the process of building and shepherding the group to accomplish these tasks.
I would welcome the opportunity to talk with you about your project!~
